      <image:title>About the Artist - Alyssa Carbonara</image:title>
<image:caption>Ever since I was young I knew I had a call to the arts. My life path followed that of a traditional fine artist. I became well versed in a multitude of different mediums including colored pencil, oil paint, watercolor, oil pastel, etc. I also dabbled in sculpture which helped in honing a sharp eye for light and how it interacts with objects in the natural world. I firmly believe that fine art is the foundation of all other art and that is why I love to bring all of those elements into tattoos. My love for fine art runs deep, however, my love for the natural world coincides with that. In the midst of me contemplating my path, I considered finding a career in some field of animal welfare. As it goes, that road kept leading me back to the arts. My admiration for the flora and fauna of the natural world continues to inspire my work. The color, shapes, and diversity that exists within the ecosystem extends directly into that of every human being that inhabits it. My goal as a tattoo artist is to allow ourselves to connect deeper with plants, animals, and everything in between by creating unique pieces that can reflect who you are as an individual and celebrate that for all to see. Whether that is color or black and grey, fine line or bold and bright, it is my ultimate goal to encourage discussion and collaboration to provide you with a tattoo that you can leave feeling happy with for life. photo by Chuck Siwinski</image:caption>
